The full Trend Micro XDR offering will be available H1 of 2020 and will provide detection and response capabilities across Trend Micro™ Deep Discovery™ (network), Trend Micro™ Cloud App Security (email), Trend Micro Apex One™ SaaS (endpoints) and Trend Micro™ Deep Security™ (cloud workloads).

XDR Solutions Available in 2H 2019

The XDR offerings available to sell in September 2019 include:

  • Trend Micro™ XDR for Users bundle, which extends beyond endpoint detection and response (EDR) to include protection, detection, and response for both email and endpoint.
  • Trend Micro™ Managed XDR for Users (formerly called MDR), which is a managed service available for customers who lack the detection and response skills in-house or want to outsource the scope. Trend Micro threat experts deliver detection reporting, sweeping, hunting, root cause analysis, and a remediation plan to help customers recover and mitigate threats.


XDR for Users Bundle:
This is a new bundle SKU that includes the following components:

  • Trend Micro Apex One™ as a Service
  • Trend Micro™ Endpoint Sensor as a Service, XDR Edition
  • Trend Micro™ Cloud App Security


The Ideal Customer:

  • Medium to large-sized enterprises with 250+ employees
  • New prospects, legacy Trend Micro enterprise suites and Trend Micro™ OfficeScan™ on-premises customers
  • Those interested in SaaS endpoint solution
